When we are commanded to obey the Movement Control Order (MCO) by the government, we will surely feel bored when we have to lock ourselves in our homes even though we have a lot of free time. We will probably be less productive when we are always at home doing the same activities every day such as waking up from our bed, eating, and sleeping without any other fun activities. Although we can only stay at home to prevent the spread of COVID-19 disease, we must always take care and maintain the health of our body and mind with various activities. So, do not just sit still at home. Let us use our free time by following this strategies to stay healthy during MCO. Here are some strategies for keeping ourselves physically and mentally healthy in lockdown so you can keep fighting the good fight: 1. Do Cardio Exercise Cardio exercise is an exercise that improves our stamina when we repeat it many times to make the heart beat faster than usual. One of the benefits of this exercise is that it can increase our metabolism and will overcome the diabetes. The examples of simple cardio exercise that can be done at home are push-ups, sit-ups, planks and burpees. These exercises can be done at a limited space and if you do not exercise regularly, exercise for 10 minutes for 3 days a week is enough to maintain the health of the body. 2. Eat Healthy Food We must eat healthy food so that the body's immune system can be improved optimally and effectively. Although this food does not seem to taste good, but it will bring many benefits to our own body to maintain our physical health. 3. Maintain Sleep Routine No matter how busy we are, we must maintain our sleep routine so, we get optimal rest to do daily work for the next day. Do A Dance Do you want activities that stimulate your body's adrenaline? Do you feel lazy to exercise? Do you feel energized when listening to your favorite song? Dance performed for 30 minutes to 1 hour a day can burn excess fat from our body. It is also able to reduce stress and maintain our heart’s health. In addition to being fun, dance is also able to train our body's coordination and balance more effectively. Do House Chores
